Define worship and praise.
The pouring out of what's in your heart to God. Bringing the best you have to him. Bring him things you think he'd like. Bringing a sacrifice, not to appease him but to please him. If it be a sacrifice of your body by dancing or bowing; a sacrifice of your time to do the things that are on his heart or being his hands extended to the broken;
It's also showing him your passion and love for him. Just like your spouse or kids want you to show them your passion and love for them.
How do you express love and passion to God? During a worship service it can be done by singing to him. Pouring out your heart in song. Telling him how much you love him, how thankful you are for how he's saved you and given you life. It can also be done through your outward expression of what's in your heart. Let what you do on the outside be a reflection of what's going on inside. If you are so full of joy that you can't contain it, it just doesn't feel like singing is enough then smile and dance or jump for joy. If you're feeling goofy it's ok to laugh. If you feel broken, hurt or alone, reach out to him as your father, comforter, savior and lift your hands and face up just like a child does to a mother or father or to someone pulling them up out of whatever the fell into.  If you're feeling ashamed and want Gods mercy and forgiveness, first of all know that God has already forgiven you and loves you without end and if you love him then he sees you as perfect, but if you feel this way, just bow down or cry out to him saying you're sorry and you want to change (repent). These aren't the rules for outwardly expressing worship. Just express your true self to God from the inside out.
God is real and wants to be with you and wants you to know who he is. He wants you to express yourself to him just like you would anybody else. He wants to be with you when you're mad or happy, sad or joyful, alone or in a crowd. He wants to talk with you, laugh with, cry with you, sing and dance with you. He wants to go everywhere you go. Just be real with him. Be yourself.
